I’m going to tell you something about myself, so you can better understand why we do what we do and why we do it now. For many years, I worked in the financial world, and to be honest, I loved my job. But one day, life, which always has some surprises in store, and not always good ones, turned 180-degrees for me. My parents had a car accident that took my father's life, and from that day on, it also took a part of mine. Moreover, my day-to-day life changed radically.

In 2018, my life took another wonderful 180-degree turn, this time a wonderful one: I became a mother for the first time. Part of my heart, my being, and my soul came to belong to a little person who filled me completely with love. During those first months, I had very little time for myself, but a lot of time to think. The excitement of doing something for myself from scratch, creating something I was passionate about, took over. But day-to-day life allowed me to do just enough to survive. For this reason, my great excitement faded away.

My excitement remained latent. And…, 2020 arrived, "the year" in capital letters. A year that marked the life of each and every one of us. A year in which everything we knew crumbled. A year in which we began to rebuild our present and our future. A year of introspection, getting to know ourselves, feeling vulnerable, and rediscovering the world. In that year, I once again experienced one of the happiest moments of my life: becoming a mother for the second time. The cycle repeated itself, and finally, what you now know began to take shape.

Getting here hasn’t been easy; it’s been a long journey. A path of creation and destruction, thinking, wandering, creating, mistakes, and learning... I knew I wanted to combine one of my great passions, fashion and collaboration with charitable causes. And from there, the idea of creating Hoodies with heart,, sudaderas con corazón, que tienen un nombre y una historia que contar.
